MOQUETTE (India)

The Moquette is a cut pile construction with a unique grid textured weave. It is hand knotted with the best New Zealand wool, giving the carpet a luminous characteristic, which defines the surface quality. The Moquette can be ordered as all cut pile or as a combination of cut pile and flat weave, which enhances the design motifs in relief. This product—as well as being used for floors—has also been commissioned for upholstery.

PENTA (India)

Penta is an entirely unique construction: a hand woven and knotted floor textile which Vanderhurd has developed using the finest quality hand spun wool and silk. The hand woven areas of the carpet are constructed so as to render visible the silk and cotton weft threads, creating a vestigial texture, which is juxtaposed by a raised hand knotted cut pile silk to dramatic effect.

LISBOA (India)

Lisboa combines a hand woven flat weave sumac and a hand knotted cut pile in 100% linen. This unusual construction lends itself to geometric patterns—the designs enhanced by the intricacy of the texture of the woven sumac—or is perfect as a monochromatic textured carpet, either all sumac or all cut pile, the latter exhibiting the faded quality of the colours to beautiful effect.

PORTO (India)

Porto is a 100% linen combination of alternating hand knotted cut pile and loop lines. This ribbed construction can be ordered in one colour, or several for a more pronounced striped effect.
